The thesis presents the design and implementation of a FAIR-compliant data management workflow for Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) applied to the characterization of halloysite-based materials, developed during the internship at CNR-IMM in Catania, for MDMC. The study integrates technical metadata extraction, NeXus file generation through Python-based tools.
The goal is to ensure data interoperability, reproducibility and long-term accessibility within research infrastructures, contributing to the broader adoption of FAIR principles in materials science.
